5 Things to do Every Morning

Okay, we’ve heard it many times: people who are successful have some type of a morning routine that helps them achieve what they want.

Many of these successful people’s routines involve reading, exercise and meditation.

So what you’ll see here, is my ideal healthy morning routine.

All of this does not happen every day. The 90% of the time it does, I have a truly wonderful day.

I’m hoping you’ll find inspiration, new ideas and new morning habits that you want to try out when you wake up tomorrow.

1. WAKE UP BEFORE EVERYONE ELSE.

This gives me quiet time to myself without any demands from others. Currently I wake up at 6am

2. EXERCISE 10 MINUTES.

I love to do yoga stretches on my mat. I just need those 10 minutes! They help relieve stress, aches and just make me feel really good.

3. HYGIENE, MAKEUP & MUSIC.

Washing my face, brushing teeth and hair with music lifts the mood and energizes me for the day!

4. FOCUS

I drink a delicious matcha soy latte and write in my 5 Minute Gratitude Journal from Amazon. This really sets intentions for the day.

5. MEAL PREP & BREAKFAST

This is the time I prepare my meals for the days ahead. I will make big pots of oats, beans, rice, quinoa, wash the fruits and cut up my veggies for salads. I will bake potatoes to have them ready to reheat for the week.

Then I make myself a nutritious plant based breakfast around 8:30 am.

Nevertheless, I feel my mornings are healthy, in a way that this time helps me stay connected to myself, something we could easily forget when we become parents or slaves to our jobs.
