Breaking the Habit of Being You

Dumping excess pounds and body fat by changing our eating habits is no different from any habit we have tried to break.

Whether we’re addicted to cigarettes, alcohol, chocolate, shopping, gambling, or biting our nails, the moment we end the habitual action, chaos breaks out between the body and the mind.

The thoughts we embrace are intimately identified with the feelings of what it would be like to experience those indulgences.

When we give into the cravings, we will keep producing the same outcomes in our lives, because the mind and body are in opposition.

Our thoughts and feelings are working against each other, and if the body has become the mind, we will always fall prey to how we feel.

As long as we use familiar feelings as our feedback on our efforts to change, we’ll always talk ourselves out of new possibilities.

We will never be able to think greater than our internal environment.

We will never be able to see the world of possibilities other than the negative ones from our past.

Our thoughts and feelings have that much power over us.

The good news is that we can become consciously aware of these tendencies.

Just as negative emotions are embedded in the operating system of your subconscious, so can positive!

It takes a desire to be different to feel different and act different!

Our mindset is a powerful tool to achieve our greatest desires. I found journaling the most helpful.

Writing down the desires we want to change really supports our present reality.

The part of us we want to give up for a new personality is clarifying in the day to day repetition of journaling.

In time the new you will emerge and the old behaviors will be removed and your desires will come true.

A new mindset will appear to help you change to be a healthier version of who you really want to be!

In my 6 month lifestyle program I not only included plant based menus but also daily journaling and exercise.
